DMCA & Copyright Policy

Last updated October 1, 2026

Peek Entertainment, LLC respects the intellectual property of creators and others. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512 (“DMCA”), and we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. Creators on Peek own their content; redistributing it without permission is both a copyright violation and a breach of our Terms of Service.

1. Designated agent

Send copyright notices to our designated agent:

Copyright Agent, Peek Entertainment, LLC
DMCA Agent, Peek Entertainment, LLC
Tampa, Florida, United States
services@thepeekentertainment.com

2. Filing a takedown notice

To be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is sufficient);
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list if several);
  3. Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough information for us to locate it — on Peek, the creator’s handle and, where possible, a link to or screenshot of the specific post or message;
  4. Your name, address, telephone number and email address;
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.

Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing exposes you to liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Please consider whether the use may be fair use or otherwise permitted before filing.

3. What we do

On receiving a valid notice we will promptly remove or disable access to the material, notify the user who posted it, provide them with a copy of the notice, and record the strike against their account.

4. Counter-notification

If you believe your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the designated agent containing:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature;
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal;
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
  4. Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your district (or, if outside the United States, any district in which Peek Entertainment may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.

We will forward the counter-notice to the original complainant. Unless they notify us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action to restrain the infringement, we may restore the material in 10–14 business days.

5. Repeat infringers

We terminate the accounts of users who receive three valid infringement notices, or fewer where the infringement is flagrant (for example, re-uploading another creator’s paid content). Terminated users may not create new accounts.

6. Protecting creators’ content

If your Peek content has been leaked to another site, you may send that site a DMCA notice yourself using the format above. On request we will provide you with the account information we are lawfully able to share about a user who redistributed your content, and we will cooperate with valid subpoenas. We also remove content that re-uploads another Peek creator’s work.

7. Trademark and other complaints

For trademark, right-of-publicity or other intellectual-property complaints, email services@thepeekentertainment.com with a description of the right, evidence of ownership and the location of the material.
